Capcom Confirms Resident Evil 2 Remake

Resident Evil 2,  A 1998 survival horror video game originally released for the PlayStation. Developed by Capcom as the second installment in the Resident Evil series, its story takes place two months after the events of the first game, Resident Evil. It is set in Raccoon City, an American community whose residents have been transformed into zombies by the T-virus, a biological weapon developed by the pharmaceutical company Umbrella.

Producer Yoshiaki Hirabyashi created a video to thank fans and announce commencement of development. Capcom had asked fans if they would like a Resident Evil 2 Remake due to the awesome support the project will happen!

“It’s been great to see so many positive comments from fans that have pushed the project to get approved,” he says. “The team here at Capcom Japan really appreciates fans’ passion and support and will do our best to bring fans what they really want.”

While Resident Evil fans wait on this remake they have Resident Evil o HD to look forward to in 2016
