Creator of Lost Odyssey and Final Fantasy Hironobu Sakaguchi speaks on his latest project

As part of 4Gamer’s annual mass interview of over a hundred video game industry giants, Hironobu Sakaguchi spoke on his efforts regarding an upcoming project. In the interview, he told 4Gamer that he plans to announce the still-unnamed game sometime in 2017.
According to Dualshockers, we know Sakaguchi-san has been developing a console-based version of the successful mobile game Terra Battle. It’s also promising to see that Sakaguchi’s Lost Odyssey was released through the backwards compatibility feature to Xbox One owners for free. As Sakaguchi’s Mistwalker Corporation worked to bring the Xbox 360 classic to Xbox One to possibly prep the company to release a new title for the latest generation console from Microsoft.
