Summer Game Fest featured a variety of different games from surprising AAA titles to indie games developed by a single person. Cuffbust, developed by the one-person studio, Two Star is a multiplayer prison escape game that is planned for a release on PC in 2025.

The game description reads:

Escape prison with your friends by equipping tools, evading guards, and executing your breakout plan. Destructible environments, proximity chat, a multitude of escape routes, and 20-player lobbies!

Watch the announcement trailer on YouTube:

In Cuffbust, the environment is everything. Check the cameras to locate guards or hijack the intercom to communicate with teammates across the prison. To cut off the building’s power, you’ll need to destroy generators, and disable anti-aircraft guns, and phone lines.

When does Cuffbust release?

Cuffbust is planned to be released in 2025 for PC via Steam, the developer thinks. The indie-developed title by Gavin Eisenbeisz is currently not planned to release for consoles.
