Destiny news has been coming thick and fast these past few days. First there was news of the latest expansion, Rise of Iron, and now rumours that Destiny 2 has been rebooted.
Originally announced in February at the annual Activision investors conference. No real further details have been heard since then, apart from that the release is scheduled for some point in 2017.
However that has all since changed. In a sign that Activision and Bungie are not entirely happy, there has been a reorganisation of staff at the developers and Luke Smith, director of the Taken King, is now in charge of the game. What this says about the state of the game currently or the finished product it is hard to tell. But one thing that can be implied from this is that it is more than likely that Destiny 2 will not be released until at least the fall of next year.
