As many are aware, Blizzard Entertainment is hard crafting away at Diablo IV. At BlizzCon in 2019, the developer announced the fourth installment which aligned with previous reports to reincarnate the darker overtones of Diablo II. However, as time progressed into the COVID pandemic, the game faced pushes and is currently sitting on a release window of ‘to be determined’ as of last year.

However, that is not the only Diablo property that is underway from Blizzard Entertainment. In that, Diablo Immortals was announced a year prior in 2018. The mobile-focused title arrived with plenty of backlash from the community during its inception and has quietly been sitting on the back burner at the team for more than three years.

In a new announcement recently, Blizzard Entertainment reveals that Diablo Immortals is to ship this June. Additionally, there will also be a PC port to ship simultaneously this summer. You can watch the release date trailer in the video below:

“Community feedback has been imperative to the development of Immortal and has influenced the game in many ways, as you’ll come to see. One recurring piece of feedback we especially took to heart was the desire to play Immortal on PC. Well, we are most pleased to announce this has been made a reality—in addition to releasing on Android and iOS devices,” Blizzard Entertainment writes.

As for the PC version, it will launch as a free-to-play open beta coming this June. In the separate PC blog post for Diablo Immortals, the game studio presses controller support, HUD scaling, and the implementation WA/S/D directional controls will be featured in the version for keyboard & mouse players.
