For the base game, Rectify Gaming scored Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot a 8.2/10 at release. We shared the title to being “a serviceable open world and rudimentary RPG elements don’t take away from the sheer love and detail the game is filled to the brim with.” Adding: “Excellent side quests and a fun battle system carry the game during the slow sections, and elevate it during it’s climactic series moments.”
As for the game following its launch back in 2020, Bandai Namco has continued to support the anime RPG with plenty of DLC. In the following years, players were welcomed with add-ons like ‘The 23rd World Tournament’ & ‘Goku’s Next Journey’. It wasn’t until this past summer that ‘DAIMA: Adventure Through the Demon Realm – Part 1’ arrived with expectations for the second installment to come in the following months.
This week, ‘DAIMA: Adventure Through the Demon Realm – Part 2’ is finally here. And, Bandai Namco also celebrated the title selling over 10 million copies. You can watch the DLC launch trailer in the video below:
“The battle moves to the next stage as mighty foes from the Demon Realm await in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot DAIMA-Adventure Through the Demon Realm Pack Part 2. This DLC Pack features two new playable characters, enemy encounters from the Demon Realm and a formidable boss fight against Tamagami Number Two, available now for all platforms,” the blog post reads.
“In DAIMA–Adventure Through the Demon Realm Part 2, Goku and his friends are tasked to fight powerful foes in the First and Second Demon Worlds in an effort to defeat King Gomah. Players will have the opportunity to play as Vegeta (Mini) and Goku (Super Saiyan 4), as they face enemies such as Tamagami Number Two (guardian of the Two-Star Dragon Ball), the Gendarmerie Tank, and Gendarmerie Force (the elite division of the Demon Realm’s military police).”
