Drag x Drive releases August 14 exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2

Nintendo announced today that its brand-new IP, Drag x Drive, will officially be released on August 14, 2025, exclusively for the Switch 2. The game uses the console’s unique feature of mouse controls. Players will hold each Joy-Con 2 controller like a mouse for tight control of both your wheels as you speed around the court.

To score in Drag x Drive, you will raise your hand and flick your wrist to shoot and to score. It’s a 3 on 3 experience, and it has online multiplayer to play with friends and newcomers. 

Nintendo confirmed that Drag x Drive is a digital-only game and will cost $19.99 USD on the eShop, which can be pre-ordered now.

The Switch 2 is off to a great start as it became the fastest-selling console launch in the history of all video game consoles. It has sold over 3.5 million units so far.
