All Sigil Locations for EXPCalibur

Discover everything you need to know about all Sigil locations for EXPcalibur II in Dying Light: The Beast, including how to obtain them.

All Sigil Locations for EXPCalibur

Sigil Stones in Dying Light: The Beast are ancient carved stone markers scattered across the open world. The game offers 8 distinct sigil stones, and each is located in a different area. Collecting all 8 Sigil Stones is part of a secret Easter egg questline. Once you gather them all, you unlock access to the EXPcalibur. Finding them can be challenging, but it leads you to equip EXPcalibur.

You can then summon or claim EXPcalibur at its resting place after collecting all eight Sigil Stones. You unlock access to the EXPcalibur once you gather them all. In this guide, we’ll discuss how to get all sigil stones in Dying Light: The Beast, including how to acquire Excalibur while progressing.

The Void (Sigil Stone #1)

The Void

The first-ever stone sigil in Dying Light: The Beast is located in the southeast of the Monastery. This area is located near the waterfalls in the game. Enter the cave and make sure your gamma settings are high; otherwise, it will be super dark inside. Make your way to the top of the platform and get inside the small opening. Passing through this opening allows you to enter the cave, located behind the waterfall.

Defeat all the enemies over there after going inside. These enemies are spawned before the purple-rarity baseball bat and some loot. Locate the small body of water and dive in to acquire the Void stone sigil. It will be available in the deer’s skull. Use the survivor sense to look for this treasure chest symbol and keep following that.

The Moon (Sigil Stone #2)

The Moon

The location for this sigil stone is very close to the first location. Get out of the cave and follow the path on the right to reach your destination, which is just above the tiny crack. Make your way through the crack to find the camp area. There will be trees with yellow leaves near the tent. Get inside the area and find a stone with the Moon Stone sigil on the left side. The Moon sigil is available on the rock.

Witch’s Mark (Sigil Stone #3)

The location for the Witch’s Mark sigil stone is near the location of the second one. However, you need to move around the map. After that, get inside the east of the previous location once you follow the river. Locate the cabin at the end over here. The cabin is abandoned and is surrounded by zombies. You can choose to defeat the zombies or run to get inside the cabin. Pick up the Witch’s Mark stone sigil from the right-side wall after moving inside the abandoned cabin. Keep in mind that you need to look for a water stream between the 2 mountains with an abandoned house. Enter the house and collect your Witch’s Mark sigil.

Sacrifice (Stone Sigil #4)

Sacrifice

For the Sacrifice stone sigil, come to the nearby location when you have the beautiful circular monument, which is also used during one of the missions. Move east from the previous location to reach the location of the stone slabs. Locate the smell area on the left to get inside. Turn around after getting inside the small area to get your hands on the Sacrifice stone sigil on the mid wall.

Blood (Stone Sigil #5)

Blood

Make your way to the St. Valentine Asylum. Move to the courtyard and travel to the location as shown on the map. There is a fountain in the middle of the courtyard, and the Blood sigil stone is available on it. All you need to do is go to the location and look for the statue that basically has the Blood sigil.

Curse (Stone Sigil #6)

Curse

For the sixth stone sigil, you need to go to the Memorial Hills of Heroes. This specific place is very close to those big blocks of stone. Finding this place can be tricky. Move to the north after setting your journey from the asylum. Eventually, you will get to the Memorial Hill of Heroes. Pass through the treeline on the right side. You will get inside the small area with tree roots after running into the forest. There’s also a skeleton next to the tree roots in the middle. Put your hands inside the skeleton’s mouth to collect the Curse stone sigil.

Death (Stone Sigil #7)

Death

Enter the old town near the church, which is used during one of the missions. Complete the third main mission of Dying Light: The Beast, called The Beast Within to get access to this location. Find the entrance of the church and move inside to locate the small opening on the right. Get inside the area from this opening to get to the crypt of the church. Find the angel’s statue on the right to collect the Death stone sigil.

Shadow (Stone Sigil #8)

Shadow

Make sure to enter the cave, which is unlocked during a storyline. If you have done the mission with the exiles, then this place will be unlocked for you. Complete the eighth main story mission (Some Like It Dark) to unlock the Cave of Exiles. Move inside the cave and collect the Shadow stone sigil near the entrance point. This one is located near the cushions and candles.

How to Get EXPcalibur II in Dying Light: The Beast

EXPCalibur II

Now, with all these 8 sigils come the locations on the map where you find the EXPcalibur II on top of a big mountain. The weapon is inside the rock, like how the EXPcalinur II is supposed to be. Make your way to the northeast of the Monastery at the top of the mountain. Go to the location above the map to reach your destination. Move to the multiple outcroppings with vines once you move into the area. Get to the higher ledge from the first bunch of vines.

Go to the other side of the mountain and use the path to move upward. Move to the top of the mountain and find the EXPcalibur II stuck to the stone in the center. You need to put all eight sigils at every corner of the sticks, allowing you to spawn the enemy.

Interact with the sword after defeating the enemy. Pulling the sword enables you to pick another weapon as well. Obtain the legendary long-sword Excalibur when the white circle around the interaction prompt is finished. EXPcalibur II is a strong sword that can only be used once. This weapon has a base damage of 582 and +33% weapon throw power, and +6% damage (Infected).

Hi, I’m Ali. I started gaming with Max Payne, and it set the tone for my interest in darker, more immersive experiences. I mostly play soulslikes, RPGs, and FPS titles that focus on tight mechanics and pacing.

I have a strong appreciation for game soundtracks and how they shape the overall experience. I’m also a long-time horror fan, across both games and films, with a preference for atmosphere-driven storytelling. This space reflects that passion, exploring games through both their mechanics and the atmosphere they create.
