
On Monday, Electronic Arts teased the return of its college basketball games in a new post on X (Twitter) from the official EA Sports account. The post reads, “Bring the Madness. Let’s run it back.”
It has been over 15 years since EA Sports released a college basketball game. They were consistent with release these games from 1998 to 2009, with NCAA March Madness series going from 1998 to 2007 and the NCAA Basketball series releasing from 2008 to 2009.
Electronic Arts returned to releasing College Football games in 2024 with its first release in over 10 years. This year, EA Sports College Football 26
No other details were revealed for the next era of College Basketball games aside from the tease. It’s possible we could see a release coming this year or in early 2026.
