More than a week ago, Bethesda’s parent company Zenimax applied for a trademark for the upcoming installment in the Elder Scrolls franchise. With discovering the trademark for the next generation title, we might have a name for the game as well.
Titled “Redfall”, it’s not specific if this is for the upcoming title or for something else planned from the game’s world. But with many going over this recent analysis, some are able to assume this is for the E3 revealed title.
This can easily be connected to the Redgaurds of Hammerfell, a race that inhabits the country in the Elder Scrolls Universe. When the announcement trailer debuted back in June, fans instantly were able to connect the dots with the geography shown in the 30 second teaser. Confirming the location of the game even more with this recent news now.

This isn’t the surprising seeing a game title being leaked through its trademark application. Back in 2013 Starfield was discovered, but fans weren’t able to get a look at the game until this year since then. And Bethesda’s most notorious title from 2011 was simply titled ‘Skyrim’ when people found the applied trademark for The Elder Scrolls V.
As of right now, Bethesda hasn’t talked much about the anticipated game since we are a generation behind its release. Vice President Pete Hines spoke of both of their next platform titles and the generation as a whole recently, which you can check here.
