In the ongoing campaign for more returning Electronic Arts properties, many fans are already ecstatic to learn that BioWare is turning on all cylinders to bring the return of both Mass Effect & Dragon Age in the approaching years. However, there are additional franchises that many players are still hopeful to see on the path to return in the coming years.

For one, Titanfall is still in purgatory. While the series is on hiatus, the universe has expanded greatly with the addition of Apex Legends. However, dataminer @biast12 on Twitter disclosed that the series is already returned to development. However, there is no indicating the authenticity of the claim nor to understand when the next game might come if legitimate.

Recently, GamesBeat Jeff Grubb disclosed that plans for the coming EA Play Live in late July is to feature an announcement for the return of a beloved IP from Electronic Arts.

The statement happens to corroborate with a separate claim made by Grubb is a previous livestream back in March. “I think you’ll be happy. We’re going to see it… If we’re not dead first.” Which gave fans initial suspicions that the title could be a new Dead Space game. However, Grubb on Twitter following his new statement denounced the rising hype for what many presumed to be the return of the Visceral Games IP.

“It’s an established IP”, co-host Mike Minatti added in the previous livestream. The discussion also elaborated that the new game is to be from EA Motive based in Vancouver, Canada. Back in October, the team went to clarify it does have a new project under wraps, but it is certainly not another Star Wars game.

For those hungry for a Dead Space-esque release, Striking First is working on The Callisto Protocol. With the project helmed by former Visceral Games lead Glen Schofield, the title is shaping up to be a true successor to the series. You can read the full report by heading here.
