Elgato has unveiled its new Facebom 4K, a studio-grade webcam that delivers true 4K60, the manufacturer states. It’s twice the frame rate of competing webcams, and it introduces several firsts for the category.
The Facecam 4K offers DSLR-like quality combined with easy plug-and-play functionality. It is powered by a professional-grade Sony STARVIS 2 sensor and provides real-time processing for uncompressed UHD output. This webcam is the first to support 49-mm lens filters and gives users extensive control through Elgato’s Camera Hub software. Features include cinematic LUTs, PTZ control, and optional RTX-powered background blur.
“Back in 2022, we engineered the world’s first 4K60 webcam,” said Julian Fest, General Manager at Elgato. “Facecam 4K builds on this technology with better image quality and more creative control, at a price more people can afford. What once cost thousands of dollars in camera gear now sits comfortably on your monitor.”

Key Features:
4K resolution: Look ultra-sharp, even zoomed-in or on big screens
