First Look For ‘DC X Sonic The Hedgehog’, Issue #1 Releases This Week

In recent time, DC Comics has remained a talking point for Warner Bros. plans for the future of its gaming endeavors. Part of the roadmap includes more titles from that avenue, it clarified in an prior earnings call. Additionally, work for a new Batman has reportedly already begun with Rocksteady Studios at the helm. Despite the recent cancelation of Monolith Productions’ Wonder Woman, DC Comics remains a focus on that front.

There are also plans for new comics that stretch across to other video games. In the past, we witnessed the addition of the Arkham Knight into the Batman mythos on print back in 2018. Even more, Fortnite also crossed paths with Batman as well with its ‘Zero Point’ comic line that release in 2021 as well.

After the previous teaser, Sonic the Hedgehog is another example of this collaboration that is coming this week with Issue #1 for ‘DC X Sonic The Hedgehog’ arriving. In the header are featured illustrations for the new comic and also shared some teases from the first issue which you can view below:

Sonic and his friends have faced everything from mad scientists to ancient spirits, but the forces of Apokolips may be too much for them! Thankfully, the full heroic might of the Justice League arrives to back them up!”
