Telltale’s zombie episodic series The Walking Dead since its initial release back in 2012 has migrated across platforms and even generations as well with reworked versions of Season One and Two. Now the series is making its way to the Nintendo Switch, for Season One as of right now.

The studio recently announced that they will be releasing all five episodes of the first season will be coming to Nintendo’s platform next week and will include the 400 Days add-on along with the game’s digital release. Each being ported from The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series Collection.

Also announcing that Season One won’t be the only one coming to the Switch. “We didn’t want to stop with Season One, though, which is why The Walking Dead: Season Two and The Walking Dead: A New Frontier will also launch on Switch later this year.” Meaning that we will be seeing the other two seasons make its way to the Nintendo e-Shop before 2019.

All except for the standalone mini-series Michonne was mentioned to be coming to the Switch this year.

The Walking Dead Season One is already available on Xbox 360, One, PlayStation 3, 4, PC, Mac, Android, and iOS. And soon arriving to the Nintendo Switch on August 28, 2018 for $24.99.
