Fortnite has returned to iPhones and iPads

It has been a roller coaster between Apple and Epic Games over the last few years of bringing back Fortnite to iPhones and iPads. Earlier this month, it was announced that Epic Games won the lengthy court battle against Apple. 

On May 16, Epic Games made a post that Apple blocked Fortnite from returning to iOS devices. As of May 20, 2025, Fortnite is back on the Apple App Store in the United States on iPhones and iPads. The Epic Games Store is also now available again in the EU. 

Epic Games has not stated why it was held up over the last week. Whatever it was, is now over and Fortnite fans can now play the game on iPhones and iPads after 5 years of waiting. 

Fortnite is now available to download on the App Store and should be appearing on all iOS devices soon.

The most popular battle royale game can now played pretty much everywhere now including Xbox, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, PC via Epic Games Store, and Mobile via iOS and Android Devices.
