While more than two years has passed since the initial release of Playground Games’ Forza Horizon 4, the English developer in post-launch has and continues to introduce new content as well as challenges for players to engage in. Throughout the noted patches/fixes/tweaks injected, the experience furthers to improve as well as the variety of things to do also. Among the noted additions is The Eliminator mode that shipped previously.

Predating to December 2019 just almost a year ago already, Playground Games issued the game mode which would essentially morph the traditional racing with the endlessly growing battle royale genre. The objective – race to different points and remain the last racer of the 72 opponents in the game.

Now in a new announcement scheduled to ship in a free update today, December 8th, Forza Horizon is finally receiving a level editor. Alike what we find in Far Cry 5 Arcade or Halo Forge, Forza Horizon 4 gets a similar treatment with Super7. You can watch the announcement trailer in the video below:

“Do you have what it takes to beat the Super7? Take on Horizon’s best challenges for the chance to win incredible prizes,” the description for the video reads. “Make your own Challenge Cards and share them with your friends. Add new stunts and objects to the world with Blueprint Builder.”

As expected, Playground Games will feature its own line of challenges to complete. But now, player-created challenge cards can be crafted for unique challenges that go beyond the studio of the developer. From ramps to jumpers to concrete piping, player creativity can be expanded upon in ways that could cultivate a new community if enough comes to fruition when the update goes live.

Elsewhere in relevance to Forza Horizon 4, Playground Games issued that the title will support enhancements for Xbox Series X & Xbox Series S. The update in collaboration with Panic Button brings the game to a targeted 4K resolution and levels the framerate to 60 frames per second. You can read the full report by heading here.

Do you have blueprints in mind for Super7?

Forza Horizon 4 is out now for Xbox One and PC; playable on Xbox Series X|S via backwards compatibility.
