In a week, Xbox Game Studios is set to host its annual Xbox Developer Direct featuring Fable and Forza Horizon 6. This event has fans anticipating a release date for both games, and Playground Games may have already leaked the release date for Forza Horizon 6.
In Forza Horizon 5, there was an in-game message popping up for players, and was first spotted by Xbox Infinite on X (Twitter) that Forza Horizon 6 will have an Early Access launch starting May 15, 2026. The message mentions that if you pre-order Forza Horizon 6, you’ll have access to play the game 4 days early, with the official release for everyone expected to be on May 19.
The Forza Horizon 6 Premium Edition will include the following:
Early Access
VIP Membership
Welcome Pack
Car Pass
Time Attack Car Pack
Italian Passion Car Pack (Post-launch)
2 Premium Expansions (coming post-launch)

This information is likely planned for the Developer Direct taking place on Thursday, January 22. Playground Games or Xbox Game Studios have not officially stated anything yet.
Forza Horizon 6 is taking players to Japan for the first time in the series. It will be available at launch for Xbox Series and PC, with PS5 getting a release post-launch.
