Seen several times with previous Call of Duty titles from either Treyarch, Infinity Ward or Sledgehammer Games is a fan favorite map being remade to suit the current games setting. But usually as downloadable content after the game launches, but for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, it will be available when the game launches.
Announced today during a multiplayer livestream, Treyarch has announced that Jungle, Summit and Firing Range from 2010’s Call of Duty: Black Ops & Slums from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will be returning and be getting a makeover for the 4th installment of the Black Ops series. And of course Nuketown will be making its return to the map roster as it has for each Black Ops title.
And just like Nuketown, Firing Range was remade for Black Ops 2, being renamed to Studio. As well as Summit for remade into Uplink for Black Ops 2.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be available for Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC on October 12, 2018.
