Like clockwork typically works, a new month of free games is just on the horizon for PlayStation Plus. It was just at the end of August that we learned of the free titles coming to the service – Toem, Granblue Fantasy: Versus, and Need for Speed Heat. Of course, this is only temporary with more games to come just on the horizon.
Additionally, the same blog post pressed on Extra & Premium tier additions coming to the higher priced services. Those game include Syphon Filter 2, The Sly Collection, Assassin’s Creed Origins, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Rayman Legends, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game, Spiritfarer, Watch Dogs 2, and more.
Now this week, Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed that there will be a new trio of free games for all PlayStation Plus tiered subscribers. In October, Hot Wheels Unleashed, Superhot, and Injustice 2 will be available to download at no additional cost. Noted, the offers for September 2022’s free titles will be voided come October 4th next month.
In the past, Rectify Gaming offered a review for Hot Wheels Unleashed at its release. “If you’re itching for a fun arcade racer, you can’t go wrong with Hot Wheels Unleashed. The tracks and cars graphics are solid, the core gameplay is fast and there is plenty of things to keep you busy,” critic David Rodriguez wrote at the time.
In other related news to PlayStation services, Sony plans to rollout ‘PlayStation Stars’ to Asian regions this month. During the recent PlayStation State of Play presentation, the firm elaborated on the benefits and rewards for engaging in the new program which included digital statues of Sony properties and products.
