Recently those over at Gun Media have been running into legal troubles with releasing upcoming content for their Friday The 13th online title, and now it was announced that future development for the game will be halted completely.
Posted on Friday The 13th: The Game forums from Gun Media head Wes Keltner that with the recent struggles they’ve encountered, no more content will be coming to their title. Even mentioning about added assets to the game isn’t a go either:

We can’t add any content, whatsoever. Nada. Not even a new tree or rock. We can only focus on console dedicated servers, bug fixes, and maintenance.

For fans of the game, this is truly disappointing to see as this kickstarted game launched more successfully compared to other title that sourced from similar funding. As the dedicated players who stayed waiting for content have nothing more coming their way, it will be sad to see the game end this way.
