Gears of War: E-Day Announced, Comes To Xbox Game Pass Day One

To close out the Xbox Games Showcase, The Coalition was saved for last with the reveal of Gears of War: E-Day. This is a prequel set 14 years before the events of the original Gears of War and tells the story of the first Locust emergence on Sera.

The trailer for E-Day reintroduces us to Marcus Fenix as he engages in a tough battle with the aforementioned Locust Drone. That is the first time that Marcus fought against an enemy like this and it also showcases a younger Dom Santiago.

When Does Gears of War: E-Day Release?

Gears of War: E-Day does not have a release date yet, but the announcement did confirm it will come to Xbox Game Pass on Day One. It has been five years since the release of Gears 5 in 2019 and The Coalition has been busy with this title in the meantime along with the DLC that came to Gears 5. \
