Take-Two Interactive held its earnings call for Q4 2024 and revealed Grand Theft Auto 6 will now be released in Fall 2025 instead of Spring. In the call, Take-Two did give an update on the total sales for Grand Theft Auto V and it has now reached over 200 million copies sold.

GTA V is up another 5 million units since it was shared in February that it was at 195 million units sold. It seems the game will sell at least 5 million copies every quarter. The game has become available on multiple generations of Xbox and PlayStation consoles since 2013.

You can purchase Grand Theft Auto V for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. The only other platform missing is the Nintendo Switch or else the game could reach even higher.

It will be interesting to see where Grand Theft Auto V will be in sales when GTA 6 releases in over a year. Rockstar Games hasn’t shown anything else regarding Grand Theft Auto 6  besides the initial teaser trailer from December.
