Hogwarts Legacy has sold 40 million units

Warner Bros. Games announced today that Hogwarts Legacy, the critically acclaimed open-world action role-playing game, has sold over 40 million units worldwide across PS5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

Hogwarts Legacy is set in the 1800s wizarding world. Introducing an original story, the game puts fans at the center of their very own adventure. Beginning as a fifth-year student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, players embark on a journey through new and familiar locations, discover magical beasts, craft potions, master spell casting, upgrade talents, and customize their character to become the witch or wizard they want to be.

In Rectify Gaming’s review of Hogwarts Legacy, we scored it a 9.5 out of 10. It has also been confirmed that Hogwarts Legacy is the biggest game release in Warner Bros. Games’ history.
