One of Sony Interactive Entertainment and Naughty Dog’s highly anticipated projects is Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. A release for this game is not expected for a while. However, the game is now listed on the PlayStation Store as it was discovered today.
There is a brief description of Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet on its PS Store page:
“WHAT IS INTERGALACTIC: THE HERETIC PROPHET?
ESCAPE SEMPIRIA IN THE NEWEST FRANCHISE IN DEVELOPMENT FROM NAUGHTY DOG
Set thousands of years in the future, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet puts players into the role of Jordan A. Mun, a dangerous bounty hunter who ends up stranded on a distant planet known as Sempiria.
Jordan will have to use all her skills and wits if she hopes to be the first person in over 600 years to leave its orbit.
Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet has been in development since 2020, with Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross scoring a stellar soundtrack to accompany you on your adventure.”
It was reported that Interagalactic: The Heretic Prophet would be planned to release after 2026. Speculation amongst fans was that it could have been planned for the next PlayStation console. The game was announced at The Game Awards 2024 and has since gotten a few more teases.
The PlayStation Store listing doesn’t reveal anything yet and shows “Release date to be confirmed”.
