Kunimitsu comes to Tekken 8 on May 27 for early access, June 1 for everyone

Bandai Namco announced during EVO Japan 2026 that Tekken 8 Season 3 DLC character, Kunimitsu, will launch on May 27 for Season 3 Character Pass owners. The DLC fighter will release on June 1 for everyone.

Kunimitsu is the first DLC character as part of the Season 3 Character Pass. In the Summer, Bob will be joining, followed by Roger Jr. in the Fall. The fourth character will be released in the Winter but has not been revealed yet.

In related news, Arc System Works announced new characters coming to Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls during EVO Japan 2026. It has also been rumored that Street Fighter 6 Year 4 DLC will feature Tifa as a fighter, among others.

Tekken 8 is available to play on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC.
