Marathon releases March 5 for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC

Bungie and Sony Interactive Entertainment announced that their first-person extraction shooter, Marathon, will be released on March 5, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam. The game will have full cross-play and cross-save support.

Marathon is available to pre-order today. There are three editions players can choose from – Standard Edition, Marathon Deluxe Edition, and the Marathon Collector’s Edition.

The game was delayed from its September 2025 release so the studio could focus on polishing the game after receiving player feedback.
