In early 2025, Sony Interactive Entertainment addressed the situation supporting cross-gen for its subscription, PlayStation Plus. It was disclosed that titles for PlayStation 4 would minimize entering 2026 the year following. But, that has yet to show just yet as of the new calendar kicking off. January’s free games including Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed & Core Keeper featured last-generation support.
Additionally, this trend has since then continued. The headlining Game Catalog for later that same month was no different with games such as Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth as well as Resident Evil Village also. Upon entering February, the same pattern remains. The newest batch of free download titles like Ace Combat 7, Undisputed, and Subnautica: Below Zero are also available for PlayStation 4.
Now with the month already halfway through, the newest Game Catalog for Extra & Premium PlayStation Plus members is no different. These titles will be live on February 17th. You can read the full list below:

Of the featured titles, we urge you read our review for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. “Playing Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is an absolute no-brainer and its easily one of my favorite open world games I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing for myself.” Rectify Gaming scored the first-party sequel a score of 9.5/10.
Also, check out our review for Monster Hunter Stories 2 – Wings of Ruin. “The Monster Hunter gameplay with the added Pokemon style of collecting monsters and building a well rounded team to help you along the way is an excellent way to experience the Monster Hunter franchise that I think is easily accessible as well to those that are put off by the more hectic and less forgiving nature of Monster Hunter in general.” You can read the full review by heading here.
