Marvel’s Wolverine WILL Have A Physical Disc, Insomniac Games Confirms

Fans have been concerned about the future of physical game releases moving forward. Grand Theft Auto 6 has created some worry amongst players because it’s releasing digital-only with its “physical edition” being a code in the box. So now, fans are asking other publishers and developers if their games will have a physical disc including Insomniac Games.

It has been confirmed by Insomniac Games that Marvel’s Wolverine’s physical edition will feature a physical disc in its box.

This comes after a user commented on a video on Twitter asking if the game will be a true physical or code in a box. Insomniac Games commented saying: “The physical version will include a disc in box.”

Marvel’s Wolverine will release exclusively for PlayStation 5 on September 15, 2026. Sony Interactive Entertainment has confirmed that the game will not be coming to PC as part of its new strategy. All upcoming single-player PlayStation Studio’s titles will not be launching on PC.
