Remedy Entertainment has shared that the Max Payne 1 & 2 Remake is now in full production and mentioned that Control 2 has “progressed to the production readiness stage”. That means the game is in a playable state and they’ve reached a new milestone in its development.

As for the Max Payne 1 & 2 Remake, Remedy is working with Rockstar Games to develop the games has also progressed well. Remedy has said that it “progressed from production readiness to the full production stage”.

It was shared earlier this year that the Max Payne 1 & 2 Remake will have the same budget as Alan Wake II. The latest title from Remedy Entertainment was in the conversation for Game of The Year in 2023 after its late release.

As for a release window for the Max Payne Remakes, that remains to be seen as the development of the games is still early.
