During today’s Nintendo Digital Event @ E3, Nintendo unveiled the latest Metroid Prime game, but it’s not exactly what you’d think it is. Instead of being a Wii U title, the game is a 3DS exclusive and looks to be based on the Metroid Prime: Hunters engine that was used on the original DS. The game features 4 player co-op as you and 3 others battle through enemies in the Metroid universe. It seems as if Samus will not be present unfortunately. The game also features BlastBall as a multiplayer mode, which was a stealth announce at the Nintendo World Championships the other night. BlastBall is a 3v3 mode in which you try to  shoot a gravity ball into the enemies goal. The game is set to launch for the Nintendo 3DS in 2016. Catch the trailer below and let us know your thoughts.
