Metroid Ravenous leaked for Nintendo Switch 2

Metroid Ravenous has been leaked for Nintendo Switch 2 it looks like.

A listing for the Switch 2 game has appeared within Brazil’s Ministry of Justice and Public Security system. The page was already taken down, but a screenshot has been saved.

The listing for Metroid Ravenous for the Nintendo Switch 2 shows a production year of 2026.

Obviously, Nintendo has not announced anything yet. However, this could be something that is planned for the annual September Direct that often takes place every year.

It is speculated that the new Metroid game could be the next 2D Metroid game. It’s been five years already since the release of Metroid Dread, the last time we got a 2D Metroid title. In December 2025, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond released for Switch 2 and Switch.
