Microsoft reveals new DOOM: The Dark Ages Console wrap & Controllers

Today, Microsoft announced a Limited Edition DOOM: The Dark Ages Xbox Wireless Controller, Xbox Series X Wrap, and an Elite Wireless Controller Series 2. All of these accessories are themed after the next big release for Xbox in May. 

Here are the prices for each of the limited edition items:

Xbox Wireless Controller – DOOM: The Dark Ages Limited Edition – $79.99

Xbox Series X Wrap – DOOM: The Dark Ages Limited Edition – $54.99

Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 – DOOM: The Dark Ages Limited Edition – $199.99

DOOM: The Dark Ages will launch on PS5

While the DOOM IP is now owned by Microsoft, there had been speculation about whether DOOM: The Dark Ages would release on PS5. It was quickly confirmed by Bethesda that The Dark Ages will be releasing on PS5, as well as Xbox and PC on May 15, 2025. 

However, it looks like Xbox will get more special treatment by receiving limited edition controllers.

There were reports of DOOM: The Dark Ages coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 eventually. Microsoft, Bethesda, or Nintendo has confirmed that yet.
