Mike Tyson & Xavier Woods Headline Tekken 8 San Diego Comic-Con Panel

Earlier in the month it was announced that Bandai Namco Entertainment America would have a fairly large presence at San Diego Comic-Con. Tekken 8 was one of the games that’ll be playable this weekend and there will be a panel.

Bandai Namco Entertainment America today announced Mike Tyson will headline “The Art of Fighting” panel presented by TEKKEN 8 at San Diego Comic-Con 2023. He will be joined by Cris Cyborg, MMA’s only Grand Slam Champion, and WWE Superstar Xavier Woods along with Tekken game director Katsuhiro Harada and producer Michael Murray. The panel will be moderated by Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez.

“The TEKKEN 8 panel at SDCC brings together real world fighting and entertainment fighting worlds to discuss shared themes and look at how fight techniques have evolved, changing how fighting is portrayed in games.”

Tekken 8: The Art of Fighting is scheduled to take place Friday, July 21 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM PT / 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM ET at the San Diego Convention Center.

Tekken 8 is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series XlS and PC via Steam. A release date has yet to be announced.

There will be a Mortal Kombat 1 panel on Friday, July 21 taking place at San Diego Comic-Con.
