Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III has been officially revealed by Activision and Sledgehammer Games with a brand new Gameplay Trailer and new information. It’s confirmed that Modern Warfare III will launch with all 16 launch maps from the original Modern Warfare 2 in 2009. These classic maps have been modernized with new modes and gameplay features, says Activision.

Modern Warfare III will launch with all 16 of the maps to get things started while they plan to bring in 12 new core 6v6 maps in future seasons. Alongside the maps from 2009 there will be three brand-new Battle Maps that are large scale where Ground War and Invasion will take place. There will be one War map that brings back the popular War Mode from Call of Duty: World War II that Sledgehammer Games also worked on.

The maps would include Derail, Estate, Favela, Highrise, Invasion, Karachi, Quarry, Rundown, Rust, Scrapyard, Skidrow, Sub Base, Terminal, Underpass and Wasteland.

Activision also confirmed Zombies are returning to Modern Warfare III and it’ll be the biggest version of the game mode in its history.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare III releases November 10, 2023 for Xbox Series XlS, PlayStation 5 and PC.
