Expect 12 new 6v6 maps in post-launch seasons for Modern Warfare III

Sledgehammer Games and Activision just concluded their Call of Duty NEXT event where they showcased their newest installation in the Call of Duty franchise. The Multiplayer Beta for Modern Warfare III kicks off today, October 6 exclusively for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 with five of the launch maps being featured.

During the live stream, Sledgehammer Games announced what to expect beyond the game’s launch on November 10, 2023. First, they confirmed there will be new Ground War maps and a War mode map available on Day One. As for Post-Launch, you can expect at least 12 new Core 6v6 maps in future seasons including three all-new maps shipping with Season 1 and another three in Season 2.

It’s safe to say Sledgehammer Games is providing a lot of content in the first year of Modern Warfare III.
