Nier: Automata DLC, Photo Mode Free Update Rolls Out Today For Stellar Blade

When it comes to Shift Up’s Stellar blade, Rectify Gaming only shares praise for the new release that came earlier this spring. “Stellar Blade is a journey through the depths of human resilience and the cost of redemption, and stands as a testament to the power of storytelling in gaming. As players embark on Eve’s quest for truth and justice, they’ll find themselves immersed in a world where every choice carries weight, and the fate of humanity hangs in the balance.”

Additionally, more is planned for the game. Just this week, it was confirmed that Stellar Blade will indeed be receiving a PC port. The plans to release on keyboard & mouse is projected for sometime in 2025. What’s more, the developer also revealed prior that a new free update is on the way. The add-on includes photo mode & a collaborative Nier: Automata crossover as well.

This week, the promised update arrives on November 20th. With that comes with a swelling list of new additions as well as cosmetics & features included for Stellar Blade. “This DLC and patch updates were prepared by our dev team with one heart and one mind, and we are absolutely delighted to share this with you. We hope that the Nier:Automata collaboration items and the new Photo Mode will bring more joy to your gameplay,” the team writes in a message.

“Nier:Automata significantly inspired Stellar Blade. The collaboration between Director Kim Hyung Tae and Director Yoko Taro, marked by mutual respect and creativity, led to this successful outcome. In the center of all this is Emil (voiced by Maii Kadowaki), the strange character from Nier:Automata. Emil’s Shop makes a surprise appearance in the world of Stellar Blade where eleven different collaboration-special items will be available. Items that intertwine the best of both games, leading you to a more enriched world.”

Stellar Blade technical director DongKi Lee adds: “You can now transform each moment in the game into your personal masterpiece. Beautiful landscape, thrilling battles, those emotional moments with the characters… Capture these moments to your heart’s content. Meticulous camera work and various filters allow you to create unique looks. Go through different poses to discover new looks that you never knew Eve and her comrades had. Share these photographs of special moments to enjoy a new kind of amusement.”
