During yesterday’s Pokémon Presents presentation that Nintendo and The Pokémon Company hosted, we saw exciting new announcements that continue to expand the horizon for the decades-long Pokémon series. One being the exciting return to the Pokémon Snap series with a new iteration set to launch for Nintendo Switch sometime next year.
The second is a combined Switch & mobile release that arrives next week titled Pokémon Café Mix: a puzzle game that allows players to hire their favorite Pokémon and customize items and their own café as business begins to pick up more customers. However, the announcements do not stop there according to The Pokémon Company’s President & CEO Tesunekazu Ishihara.
During the showcase, Ishihara announced that there is on big project that will b revealed in a separate Pokémon Presents that will be taking place next week.
There is another big project we’re working on that I still want to share with you. You won’t have to wait long, as I plan to share more news with you next week, on June 24. So please look forward to it.
It is currently unsure what Nintendo and The Pokémon Company has primed for the show in the following week. This only leaves fans and others to curate some hypotheses on what the announcement could be. Of course, many continue to anticipate that this could finally be the reveal for the highly-requested Pokémon Diamond & Pokémon Pearl Generation 4 remake that has still yet to arrive.
However, there is another prediction that was reported by NintendoLife. In that, the outlet covered fan speculation which directs the idea the Pokémon Let’s Go for the Johto Region is inbound for the announcement. With the first iteration of the reboot for the series arriving in 2018 nearly two years ago, it is very possible to flirt with this possibility. Ultimately, it is simple conjecture until properly announced by either party affiliated with the reveal.
What do you hope might be the coming announcement for next Wednesday?
The Pokémon Presents show for next week will arrive on June 24, 2020.
