
The current things approaching the Pokémon series entering 2021 is fairly limited. In June last year, Nintendo alongside The Pokémon Company shared some new projects scheduled to release in the approaching months. For one, the team-based, League of Legends-like Pokémon Unite is in development. But there is no set release date as the game still remains in closed testing.
However, 2021 is expected to welcome a familiar face – Pokémon Snap. More importantly, New Pokémon Snap. You read that right; similarly to the New Nintendo 3DS, a new Pokémon game uses the fresh title to reiterate on the classic Nintendo 64 game. But unlike its predecessor, the new entry will incorporate new generations of Pokémon leading to the latest Pokémon Sword & Pokémon Shield.
Now in a new trailer for the approaching title, The Pokémon Company issues the game will officially due for release in late April. You can watch the new trailer in the video below:
“In New Pokémon Snap, players will take on the role of a budding Pokémon photographer and work with the Lental region expert, Professor Mirror, and his assistant, Rita, on an ecological survey to photograph Pokémon thriving in nature,” the synapse for the new trailer reads on the related blog post.
Also in Pokémon-related news today, a new report has surfaced which discloses that generation 4 Pokémon Diamond & Pokémon Pearl are expecting to be remade for the Nintendo Switch. While the plans are not officially released by Nintendo as of yet, it is said the project is prepared to arrive later in 2021. You can read the full report by heading here.
