Entertaining where the Nintendo Switch stands currently, it is eons ahead of its next-generation counterparts stand. Despite the power draw of the console compared to the Xbox Series X|S & PlayStation 5, the handheld hybrid is certainly of the 9th console generation with a three-year head start. Most recently, it was revealed the console sold more than 107 million units in its past financial report.

What is more eye-opening is the separate milestone made around the same time. In that, the Nintendo Switch as per VGChartz was reported to overtake sales of the PlayStation 4 in the United States. The feat certainly is not as simple, but the Sony system released four years ahead of Nintendo’s latest marvel.

This week, Nintendo shares its latest financial results revealing the new tallied Nintendo Switch sales is over 111 million sold systems. You can view the updated counts for Nintendo’s top 10 most sold releases in the list below:

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – 46.82 million
Animal Crossing: New Horizons – 39.38 million
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – 28.82 million
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – 27.14 million
Pokemon Sword / Pokemon Shield – 24.50 million
Super Mario Odyssey – 23.93 million
Super Mario Party – 18.06 million
Pokemon Brilliant Diamond / Pokemon Shining Pearl – 14.79 million
Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! / Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! – 14.66 million
Ring Fit Adventure – 14.54 million

Despite its head strong start, Pokémon Legends: Arceus surprising has yet to dismantle Ring Fit Adventure’s standing on the top ten most sold releases. Additionally, the firm goes on to reveal new releases sales including Nintendo Switch Sports at 4.84 million, Kirby and the Forgotten Land with 4.53 million, and Mario Strikers: Battle League making 1.91 million.

Previously, it was reported that Nintendo Switch first-party sales topples records established by prior hardware.
