Nintendo's Animal Crossing mobile game has been delayed

It’s been a while since we have heard about Nintendo’s Animal Crossing mobile game and when it would launch. Recently the company sadly confirmed that the game has been delayed for iOS and Android. Nintendo says that one of the reasons behind the delay is that they have diverted smartphone development resources to Super Mario Run for Android.
If they don’t delay anymore the Animal Crossing mobile game will release between April 1, 2017 and March 31, 2018.
Our Take: If I had to take a bet I’d say the game will most likely come in 2018 as it probably won’t get much attention under the big releases like Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Splatoon 2, and most likely more releasing this year.
