Hello Games’ 2016 title No Man’s Sky has had an rocky start following the online controversy promised by the studio’s head and lack of features to keep fans playing. Not until the launch of the NEXT update earlier this year was when things started to turn around for the sci-fi exploration title.

The latest update for the title will introduced new worlds that will submerge players with water and marine life. Titled ‘The Abyss’, this will introduce a new list of underwater creatures and organic items to collect in the depths of these aquatic environments.

On top of the new inhabitants of the ocean depths, players will also be able to explore hidden wrecks that lay on the ocean’s floor. Base building too will receive an upgrade to help survive in the confines underwater with glass corridors. Other additions that accompany the update is the Nautlion, a submarine that players can use as an safe haven from the dangers in the water.

The Abyss will gift all players the new underwater suit to traverse the aquatic consumed worlds along with an new gesture unique to being submerged.

No Man’s Sky is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
