On the latest episode of the Windows Weekly podcast, ZDnet’s Mary Jo Foley unveiled that in Microsofts’ lifetime, they have sold over 18 million consoles.
This happened while she was giving a breakdown of the 200 million Windows 10 devices Microsoft had announced beforehand. But Foley was stressing that the 18 million she dissected from the 200 million had only been active in the past 28 days, so there may be quite a few more.
But sadly, SONY revealed they had sold over 36 million PS4’s, therefore putting Xbox back in the shadow for some.
