Plants vs Zombies Replanted is rumored to release October 2025

It was leaked a few months ago that a return of the Plants vs Zombies franchise is happening soon. A rating for “Plants vs. Zombies Reloaded” was spotted in Brazil for all platforms via Gematsu. Sometimes ratings can give us an idea if a game will be releasing soon or even if it’s legit.

According to reliable insider, Billbil-kun via Dealabs, the franchise is making a return and the new game will be titled ‘Plants vs. Zombies Replanted’.

When Will Plants vs Zombies Replanted Release?

The outlet reports that Plants vs Zombies Replanted will be releasing on October 23, 2025. However, this date can still change since an announcement hasn’t taken place yet. October 2025 is shaping up to be a big month for EA, as they are planning to release Battlefield 6 on October 10.

It is expected that an announcement from PopCap Games and EA will happen this month. While the platforms still remain a mystery, it was reportedly planned to release on Xbox Series, PS5, Switch, PC, and Mobile Devices.

From the sounds of it, Replanted would be similar to how Plants vs Zombies all started and wouldn’t be what the Garden Warfare series had been 10 years ago.
