PlayStation 4 Slim officially announced, launching September 15th

One of the more worst kept secrets has officially been announced by Sony at the recent PlayStation meeting held in New York City yesterday. The slimmer version of the PlayStation 4 will cost only $299 and will be available in most markets on September 15th, the console will come with a slightly updated version of the DualShock 4 controller with a redesigned light bar and the functionally is nearly identical to the original PS4.
