The rumors have been that the PlayStation Neo and the Xbox Scorpio will be shown at E3, but it looks like Andrew House shot down the Neo rumor and said that it will not be at E3 this year. Which means it could be at their own event. We did get some new information from Andrew House about this ‘high-end PlayStation 4’ and that it will be more expensive than it’s current version which is standing at $350.

“It is intended to sit alongside and complement the standard PS4,” he said. “We will be selling both [versions] through the life cycle.”

The ‘Neo’ will target hardcore gamers, he said, as well as consumers with a 4K television set looking for more high-resolution content.
This is what Andrew House had to say about not bringing the upgraded PlayStation 4 to E3:

“We want to ensure we have a full range of the best experiences on the new system that we can showcase in their entirety,” he said.”
