The creative director of Quantum Break,Sam Wake, has officially announced that the game has been delayed into 2016. His statement is as follows:

We are very proud to be part of the amazing line-up Xbox One. We thank our fans for their patience, and we want them to know that the team takes this opportunity to polish and refine the game to create an entertainment experience out of the ordinary. ”

Initially, Quantum Break was scheduled to arrive in 2014 before a delay pushed it into this year 2015. A little bit of extra polish is always good, but we were really looking forward to Quantum Break as its one of our top 3 most anticipated of 2015. Hopefully, we’ll have more concrete details soon but this shouldn’t impact Xbox One’s holiday season with the likes of Halo 5 Guardians and Tomb Raider coming as well.
