The year 2021 marks the 25th anniversary for Pokémon which means we expect some announcements regarding the franchise. Today, Pokémon Center reports via their sources that the remakes of Pokémon Diamond & Pokémon Pearl are in development for Nintendo Switch.

Fans have been anticipating the 2006 Pokémon series that released on the Nintendo DS to be remade eventually. The installment will be different from Pokémon Let’s Go maintaining the classic style of Pokémon capture, Pokémon Center reports on their site.

We will have to wait and see when this will be announced, but it is also said that this remake will launch this year, 2021. An announcement regarding this from our estimation would have to be real soon or anytime up until June 2021.
