Resident Evil Requiem will reportedly release on Switch 2 and PS4

Capcom has been releasing new details for Resident Evil Requiem, which is releasing on February 27, 2026. However, they didn’t officially confirm if it’ll come to the Switch 2 or previous generation consoles.

According to well-known Resident Evil leaker, Dusk Golem, Resident Evil Requiem should be releasing on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch 2. The leaker says it seems to be “kinda known” behind the scenes and that five different people in the last couple of weeks have heard the same thing.

The leaker seems very confident that Resident Evil Requiem will be released on the Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 4. They did not say if it’ll be the same day as Xbox Series and PlayStation 5.

No other information was provided besides the platforms it will release on. Capcom has not made any official statements or announcements yet. There is a Nintendo Direct rumored to take place on September 12, which could include the new Resident Evil.
