In the second portion of June last month, publisher Electronic Arts officially unveiled Final Strike Games’ Rocket Arena. The team formed from former Halo developer Kevin Franklin – the free-to-play experience offers a vast array of unique characters with specialized abilities as players must learn to hone how each character plays in the game. Set for a release in mid July, the team also disclosed that cross-platform play will be available at launch as well.
But with the base game set to arrive this Tuesday, Final Strike Games has posted an update regarding the content that will be available for the first season of Rocket Arena. Alongside playable characters, there is also the promise to expect new maps and game modes that will be presented during coming Rocket Champion Tours. Speaking of unique game types, players will also find weekly playlists and constant rotations for something new to keep players glued.

And alike most online-focused properties, there is also a battle pass for Rocket Arena – dubbed as a Blast Pass.

Ranked matchmaking will also be present when the first Rocket Champion Tour begins as well. In that, players will be introduced to competitive game modes and unique in-game items that can be found from being successful online.
