Microsoft certainly took public attention yesterday with the hosted Inside Xbox live presentation to showcase big budget software that partners who have dabbled with the approaching Xbox Series X has to offer. With plenty of pre-existing projects announced for the new console, Bandai Namco was present to announce Scarlet Nexus for the approaching system alongside the current Xbox One.

The new hack and slash takes inspiration from both Japanese and western culture while still creating a unique experience never before seen for the genre and from its influences. During the reveal, the company did fail to mention at the time if the game will only be listed for Xbox or if the title will also ship to PlayStation as well.

But in a new press release from the firm, Bandai Namco shares that Scarlet Nexus will be shipping to PlayStation alongside PC as well.

Announced for the Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PlayStation5 (or 4) console, and PC via Steam, take on the role of Yuito Sumeragi, armed with a talent in psycho-kinesis, and explore the futuristic city of New Himuka and uncover the mysteries of a Brain Punk future caught between technology and physic abilities.

Bandai Namco Entertainment Senior Branding Manager Stephen Akana tells that the powerful minds from the team responsible for the Tales of Vesperia series uses its experience to create a new project that will be memorable for fans of the series. “Scarlet Nexus aims to change the way gamers view Japanese RPGs with a powerful futuristic aesthetic as well as a streamlined combat system that balances fast-paced action with strategic planning.”

Bandai Namco also emphasized on the utilization of Smart Delivery so fans on Xbox One can continue their enjoyment for the game on the approaching Xbox Series X as well. The press release does not expand on the same situation regarding Sony’s current and upcoming platforms.
